Customer Service Installation Team Leader

About The Position

Velox is seeking an Customer Service Installation Team Leader for its ongoing worldwide machine installations for the Customer Support team in a multidisciplinary environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks :

  • Install Team leadership & Management
  • Support Machine Installation from “Move In” to the Factory at the customer site up to “Release for Production”
  • Provides on-site technical support to the customer during the Installation Phase.
  • Become a contact point for the communication to and from the customer site to Velox during the installation period
  • Implements machine upgrades and FCOs (Field Change Order) per need
  • Opens service calls and sends reports during the Installation period. 
  • Communicate faults and shortages of parts for the equipment installation.
  • Be available for travel per need, Supports other Velox’s customers’ sites upon request.
  • Do all that is needed to Maintain and Keep the planned Installation Schedule
  • Respectfully and professionally Represents Velox when needed Infront of customers
  • Reports to Velox Customer Service Manager.

Customer site locations – Europa, USA, Canada, Israel 

  • The Position is based on Long Business trips abroad, to the USA, Canada, Europe
  • Average single trip length will be ~ 2 Months
  • Home Visits will be provided between assignments and based on the installation schedule and progress
  • Yearly average travel time (Staying abroad) ~75%  

Requirements

  • Experience in people management role as a team Leader or above – Must
  • Proven related Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Service work – Must
  • Studies of Engineering, Practical Engineer, or relevant technical background - Must
  • Proven “Technical Hands-On” Machine or Other Equipment’s servicing Experience - Must
  • End to end, high technical capabilities with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding in reading technical documentation and working according to it
  • Self-learning capabilities, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Working in a “Mullti Cultural” company – Advantage
  • Excellent Verbal and Writing English Skills
  • Ability to work abroad in long Bushiness Trips on a travel base for at least ~75% of the time
  • Valid Visa or Passport for entering the United States of America (USA)
  • Responsible, Hard Working, Well Organized, ability to follow the working process and procedures
  • Team Leadership, Personal Example Great Team Member to work with  
  • Long-term commitment for staying with Velox Installation team
