About The Position

Velox is seeking a R&D Electrical Engineer for the R&D team in a multidisciplinary environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Responsible for Electrical designs, electrical Panels, control and distribution boxes.
  • Harness, cables and wiring design.
  • Define the best Electrical solution according to product requirement and international standardization
  • End to end ownership and ability to lead tasks.
  • Alignment and coordination with the different groups and disciplines inside and outside (subcontractors/manufacturers).
  • Design and lead test plans
  • Hands-on work, installation and testing electrical equipment
  • Support vendors during prototype production


  • Certified electrician – advantage
  • BSc in Electrical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in power/electrical cabinets/control design
  • Experience with cables design
  • Ability to define technical specifications and generate drawings – experience with CAD tools
  • Very good understanding of mechanical, EMC, noise and power requirements
  • Knowledge of motion control: AC/DC, steppers and servo motors – advantage
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary system
  • Teamwork and leadership capabilities
  • Very good system view and social abilities are needed
  • Independent, self-driven and fast learner
  • Good English - written and spoken
